Work as a Door Canvasser in Dillingham!

The Mobilization Center is hiring short-term canvassers to work November 7th - November 18th. Canvassers will interact with Alaskans on key conservation, human rights and democracy issues affecting  Alaskans.

United Tribes of Bristol Bay (UTBB) will be supporting these efforts; and will act as a facilitator and point of contact.

Our goal is to identify and inform Alaskan voters on various campaigns that protect our ways of life and support the health and wellbeing of the greater community.  

Salaries are set at a $30/HR

Ideal Hours: Saturday and Sunday 12pm-6pm, Weeknights 4pm-7pm

Duties: 

  • Knock doors to identify and engage voters to take action on key issues affecting our community.

  • Post flyers and distribute materials at local businesses and residences.

  • Assist at the town hall event on November 18th and collect sign in sheets

  • Record accurate data from door knocking, and work with your supervisor and your teammates to ensure quality data is being recorded 

  • Ensure that confidentiality is respected and maintained at all times. 

  • Other duties as assigned.

While this is a short-term, temporary position there may be additional work available throughout the winter and spring. Applicants must be 18 years or older and transportation may be provided as needed.
